I know I just wrote one but......

Okay I know I just wrote an email on Thursday but I've just got some lil miracles to tell ya'll!

On Thanksgiving we went to have a lesson with a less active family we have been working with. They are so awesome! We talked with them for a while and then their friend Kyle came over for some Thanksgiving dinner. We ended up doing the lesson with Kyle too! We shared Ether 6 with them and talked about being Thankful even in the storms of life and explained the Book of Mormon to him. It went really well! After the lesson Kyle asked us how he could learn more! We gave him a BOM, our number, and invited him to church. He said he'd be there and the family said they'd come with him! Unfortunately, Kyle got called into work at 2am on Sunday so he couldn't make it. BUT Juan from the family made it! The ward was super awesome and jumped right in to greet and welcome him. Kyle said he would try and be there next week :)

Another mini miracle was TODAY! For the real ones who have been reading my emails for a while now will remember Scott from the record shop. We found him on my birthday when I was with Sister Eyre when we walked into his shop on my birthday. We found out he used to be a member and long story short we started to re-activate him. I went to the record shop today! Scott was there! It was so amazing. He told me he still goes to church, feeds the missionaries almost every Monday, and has been paying his tithing! It was so good to be able to talk with him and see how far he has come :) We went to the store with 2 other sets of sisters and while I was introducing them to him he said "You can call me Brother Mills" I thought it was so adorable lol!

This next week will be a busy one but I'm actually super excited for it! TOMORROW WE ARE GOING TO THE TEMPLE! I've only been through the temple once right before my mission so I'm super excited to go again!
We also have a bunch of meetings and trainings that we are holding but they are fun ones haha. You'll find out all about them next week :)

Lately I've been studying and teaching about Christlike attributes. We are told to become like Christ and follow His perfect example. Honestly, That's super intimidating! I mess up every single day haha. However, there are many attributes of Christ. For example, honesty, virtue, patience, humility, charity, knowledge, diligence, etc. I want to invite each of you to pick one attribute of Christ and work on it this week! You don't have to be perfect all at once. Break it down and work on one thing at a time. What attribute of Christ will you choose?
 Love ya'll

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry you haven't heard from me for a couple weeks! Our Pday was moved to today for Thanksgiving.

Mission life has been crazy and kinda weird honestly. Because sister Thorsen and I are over social media and are sister training leaders we are non stop busy. We are in meetings all the time, making PowerPoints, hosting meetings, planning, planning, and planning. We are trying to figure out how to balance social media work, sister training leader work, working with the ward, working with the people we are teaching, and finding more people to teach. It's a lot but we are blessed for our efforts!

If there's anything I've learned from this is that there is never enough time. There is truly no way to ever be 100% organized and know how to balance everything perfectly. You just do what you can and do the absolute best you can!

Amidst all the many meetings and planning's we have had time to visit lot's of people in the ward and teach a few of our friends! Marlaina is someone that sister Anderson and I had just started working with but when sister Thorsen got here she kinda fell off the face of the Earth. However, she finally texted us back! We got to have a lesson with her just yesterday! We invited her to come to church with us and she said yes! Please keep Marlaina in your prayers :)

We are also teaching Rachel! She is super sweet but has recently been exposed to covid so we have just been doing zoom lessons. Prayers for Rachel!
We are also working with some less actives. This ward has got a lot of them! Especially since covid. Our ward mission leader gives us Martinelli's that we take to less actives homes with us. We have noticed that they are usually a lot more nice that way hahaha.

I don't have much time left so that's all I can write today. Just know I love you all, I love my Savior, and I love my mission!
Love,

Transfers, Potential Temples, and a Mission Tour!

This week had to be the busiest week ever. I've never been able to see so many missionaries in a week my whole mission!

It started with Transfers. My new companion is Sister Thorsen! I was her STL back in June when I was in Everett Serving with Sister Erickson! We are HYPED to be comps! Transfers are always lots of fun because you get to see lots of missionaries! This transfer was especially fun because more than half the mission was there! It was a big transfer!

The next day was Mission Leadership Council (MLC!) I always look forward to MLC. The spirit is so strong as we talk about the things we want to discuss for zone conference and how we can help lift the mission. This time we focused on Christ like attributes.

The next day was the Mission Tour with Elder and Sister Duncan from the 70! The whole mission met at the Arlington stake center and it was a party! It was awesome to be able to see everyone! The conference was amazing! We talked a lot about the Book of Mormon and the power that it has. After the conference sister Thorsen and I got interviewed by Elder Duncan. President chose us and a set of Elders to be interviewed by him. It was such a cool experience! Elder Duncan is awesome.

Something that our mission has been doing is the Book of Mormon experiment. It's where we ask people to read a page of the Book of Mormon and highlight words or references to God. This experiment goes to show that every page of the Book of Mormon testifies of Christ. Try it! Read any page of the Book of Mormon and highlight the references to God. I promise you'll find them! The BOM is truly another testament of Christ!
Love you all!

Transfers Again????

Welp, some how another 6 weeks has come and gone. Sad news. The sisters Anderson era has come to an end. My companion, sister Anderson, is being transferred! We don't know where yet but this transfer is crazy!! We have 30 new missionaries coming in and we had 30 missionaries come in last transfer so that means 60 missionaries are in training!! The other crazy thing is we have a lot of missionaries going to their original assignments or going home so our Mission Leadership Council is being WIPED. It's going to be an interesting transfer!

This week we had our in person social media trainings! We got to go Bellingham so I got to see sister Erickson!! We also went to Arlington so I got to see sister Eyre!! It was a lot of fun to train missionaries on how to post good content.

We also made a new friend this week! Her name is Marlaina and she is super spunky! She's very spiritual so I'm super excited to start teaching her more. She was referred to us from a member in another ward who is super missionary minded ( all of yall should be like that)

I don't have much more time but KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS AND SHOW GOD THAT YOU LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE ALWAYS SHOWS YOU THAT HE LOVES YOU.
k love you all bye!
Love,
Sister Anderson
