Back in Island View ๐Ÿฅฒ

Welp....I've been in Washington for just over 365 days now....BEST PLACE EVER. Crazy that I haven't seen my family in that long! On my one year in the WEM Sister Andersons elbow greeted my lip for a "happy one year fat lip!" Lol....it was an accident but it was pretty funny.

Also on my one year I got ice water dumped on me on the windiest day ever ๐Ÿ™ƒ awesome haha. It was for the zone! We did it because the zone hit their goal of teaching the restoration 300 times! Let's goooooo!

We were able to fit in some service this week! For one of the we helped a lady in our ward give her dog a haircut ๐Ÿ’ˆit was kinda scary actually but it looks good now!

We finally did our last exchanges of the transfer ๐Ÿ˜… the first one of the week. I stayed in area with sister tippets! She's brand new so it was her first exchange! So fun! the next exchange was in my old area, island view!!! I have missed it SO much! They had a boundary change so only half the ward is still in island view:/ but I still got to see some of my very favorite people ๐Ÿ˜Š  I got to go with Sister Fodness who is amazing! They are teaching some super awesome people! Island View is still poppin!

I also unfortunately found out that a less active sister Eyre and I had been working with very unexpectedly passed away. Back when we first called her she was super confused and didn't want to talk to us. She later called us back and wanted a priesthood blessing. When we got members over there we found out no one had ever heard of her in the ward. She didn't seem to remember anything about the gospel either. So we started to re-teach her! After we left, sister Fodness said she felt they really needed to focus on the plan of Salvation. Now that she's gone it's crazy to see how much God's hand was there. He knew her time was short here and now she can rest in peace knowing exactly where she is. God is good!

I think this week we hit a record for most meetings in a week! It was so crazy and we have so many different projects we are working on so that was a big part of the week. Next week we are determined to go knock some doors tho ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ’ช

This week I want to challenge you to pray to Heavenly Father and ask
1- what is something I'm not doing that I should start doing?
2- What is something I am doing that I should stop doing?
I know Heavenly Father hears and answers every prayer and by asking these questions you are showing him that you are willing to humble yourself to put his will over yours. He knows who you can become! Let him help you as you strive to get there.
I love you all and so does Jesus!
Love,
Sister Anderson

Washington is Where It's At

This week was crazy busy but so so good!

I got to meet another one of the friends the missionaries have been teaching here! Her name is Rachel and she is the sweetest! She was actually baptized into the church about 15 years ago but we can't find any record of it so she might have to be baptized again! She said she would be fine with that haha.

We also had back to back exchanges! The first exchange I went to Penn cove with sister Kopas. Penn cove is BEAUTIFUL. It's pretty far down on Whitney Island so it's quite the drive but so worth it! We got to teach a 103 year old lady! She's surprisingly very with it for her age. I love her.

The next exchange happened right after! I headed back to Bow hill with hermana Shupe. We had lots of fun! She's such a cutie! I was pretty tired by the end of both of those exchanges tho ๐Ÿ˜… .
We had the wards Harvest party this week! Our ward is so awesome! Everyone loves and is welcoming to everyone! They have taught me a lot about the member I want to be when I go home.

๐ŸŽต"As I have loved you love one another" ๐ŸŽต  we all have divine potential in God's eyes. God doesn't care who we were. He just cares about who we are striving to become. Strive each day to be more like his son Jesus Christ, our perfect example ๐Ÿงก
Love you all

Sister Anderson

One Year in Skagit Magic!

It's true! I've been a missionary for a year! Fastest year EVER let me tell ya.

Also...GENERAL CONFERENCE THO. SO GOOD. If you didn't get the chance to listen to it here are some talks that you HAVE to listen to
"Worthiness is not flawlessness " -Brad Wilcox
"Addressing mental health" -Erich Kopischke
"Hold up your light" Marcus B Nash
"Becoming more in Christ" - Gilbert
"One percent better"- Michael A. Dunn
And of course all of the ones from the prophet ๐Ÿ˜‡ I love how every talk talked about how much God loves us. It's true! I know God loves his children ❤ that means YOU.

We had SO.MANY.MEETINGS. this week. We had MLC, All the conference meetings, we trained all the new missionaries on how to use social media, district council, zone conference, and Oak Harbor stake conference.

Zone conference was AMAZING! We talked about the restoration and it was so cool because we have a new sister in the field that just came from the Nauvoo historic site mission. It was really cool to have her insight and experience there! The spirit was so strong while some other missionaries and I were able to bear our testimony of the restoration of Jesus Christ's church!

We also were asked to speak at Oak harbor stake conference on the love, share, and invite initiative. It went SO WELL! AGAIN, felt the spirit as we spoke. It was interesting because we both spoke at the same time at the pulpit. It was just like teaching a lesson haha.

Before I go into any meeting or lesson I pray that the holy ghost will be with me to testify of the truthfulness of the message we are sharing. This week I felt the spirit so strong during each of them. It's like God hears and answers prayers or something ๐Ÿ‘€ BECAUSE HE DOES. if you don't believe me, try it:)) then tell me how it goes. I love being a missionary ๐Ÿ’ž I love all of you!
