Real Quick Email!

 I feel like I never have enough time to write an email lol.....This will be real quick!

We lead Zone Conference on Wednesday! We talked about the importance of working with members. Something I liked was when we talked about how many people are praying for us missionaries everyday. Not that we don't appreciate it BUT....YOU should be praying to be able to find people too! It's not all up to the missionaries. YOU GOT THIS!

I also went on exchanges with Sister Lafeta this week! She's amazing!! 

We also put 3 PEOPLE ON DATE!!! We FINALLY put Elizabeth on date AND her mom AND her Brother!! Elizabeth will be baptized on July 31st and Benedict and Asunta will be baptized on the 28th of August!! WOOT WOOT!! Elizabeth also went to girls camp this week and LOVED IT!! Her testimony has been strengthened SO much. We love her!!!

The south Sudan independence day food from last week

The Weekly

 Hello Hello everyone! I'm short on time so here we go! 

We went to Elizabeth's house for a lesson and their house was FULL of people! Apparently it was South Sudan Independence day! So we got to hang out with all her fam and eat a bunch of African food! It was actually pretty good haha. Then we got to share a message with Elizabeth and her cousins on the temple! Elizabeth's mom also gave Elizabeth permission to be baptized! She was so excited hear her mom say that she was jumping up and down and smiling ear to ear! It made me so happy  Then her mom said that she wants the whole family to be baptized! DID NOT SEE THAT ONE COMING BUT OKAY!! YES PLEASE! Now we just have to finish the lessons and pick a date! Please keep the Kuel family in your prayers :)

Jacob is doing SO GOOD! He's passed the sacrament twice now and is starting up his family history to prepare a name to take to the temple! WOOT WOOT! 

I also got yelled at for the first time on my mission. I've decided it's not very fun haha. And then I got the door closed on my face for the first time that same day! DOUBLE WHAMMY! I guess you've just gotta roll with the punches. 

It's kinda crazy how many ups and downs this week has had. However, God's hand is in it all. I encourage you all to read from Alma 44 and see how Moroni is able to see Gods hand and how Zarahemla choses not to.

HAPPY FOURTH 🇺🇲🎆

 Not a ton going on this week.

We went and read from the Book of Mormon with Jannette and she said she loved the how loving and welcoming the church is. She also came to our wards 3rd of July breakfast! She brought her sweet friend Brenda too. 

Also at that breakfast I met my aunts cousin.... SMALL WORLD! 

Jacob passed the sacrament this week! He did such a good job and is doing so well!

Something I've really appreciated about this Eastmont ward is how missionary minded they all are. We have received referrals from members they are always willing to help us, and when ever we being a friend to church they sit with them and get to know them. They are amazing! It makes me want to be that kind of member when I go home. 

So here's a challenge.... introduce yourself to someone you don't know at church and get to know them!! Who knows, maybe it's their first time there or their first time back in years. It could make their day! DO IT. You won't. Too soft. 

Anyways I love you tons! (And so does Jesus)
