Guess what?!
Who remembers a few transfers ago when I thought I was going to go to Lynnwood? Well guess what, I made it. Yep, I'm in Lynnwood! My new companion is sister Harmon and she is from Atlanta Georgia! We also go home at the same time (my departing group has LOTS of sisters!). Now I'm just a sister training leader and not a social media leader on top of that which honestly is SUPER nice. I learned a lot about balance and using my time wisely but I'm glad I have 1 less thing to worry about
My new area is a neighboring area to Eastmont! Man I miss Eastmont. We get to go to it for grocery shopping and it's a huge flash back.
Speaking of groceries, while we were at Winco we got to stop and talk to 3 people about coming to church. Each seemed pretty interested and we got one girls number! Pray for Diana!
Later in the week we got to talk to this awesome guy named Bill that lives at our apartment complex. He said his name is easy to remember because no one likes to pay the bills! He was super sweet but for some reason we left without even giving him a pass a long card. There was definitely an opportunity to but it just didn't feel right. BUT THEN, we went to church just as the Spanish branch was getting out and there was a guy that kept looking at us and the first thing he says to us is " remember me? Nobody likes to pay the bills!" It was Bill! He said his friend invited him to the special Christmas service and he was just leaving. We got to talking with him and then we were able to get his number and he said he'd like to come to church next week. Such a cool miracle!
I also got to meet one of the people we are teaching and her boyfriend at church. We had a lesson with them later that night about the Book of Mormon. The spirit was super strong and we had awesome fellowship that I think they are becoming friends with! Pray for Hilary and Rob :)
I've been able to see lots of tender mercies this week! I hope you all take time to look around and see what tender mercies God is giving to you.
I also hope you all have a very merry Christmas! Take time to reflect on what the Saviors life means to YOU this Christmas. I know for me, I would feel hopeless with out the Savior in my life. He gives me strength. I truly believe that everyone that try's to reach out to Him can know for themselves that He lives and loves all of us. He is the reason for the season! Love you all loads!
Love,
Sister Anderson
