Sister Julia Anderson: HE IS RISEN

Holy cow general conference was SO GOOD! If you haven't gotten the chance to watch it... watch it!

This week was jam packed. It was awesome! We did lots of service at the dog day care and for a sweet older lady in our ward. We also have been baking a lot of French bread! We took some bread as well as some daffodils to our Ukrainian neighbors, the guy who owns the record shop, President and Sister Auna, and a bunch of other missionaries haha. We also were in charge of a stake youth activity....it was so crazy lemme tell you.

It started with just the idea of maybe doing one since Washington is now in phase 3. Then, suddenly it was all put on us to put it together in one week! Crazy stressful but we were thinking only like 30 youth max would show up so we weren't too stressed. Well, the day came and MORE THAN 100 YOUTH SHOWED UP! It was madness but so fun! The youth loved just simply being able to talk to each other. It was so insane but so good haha.

2 of our friends were able to watch conference! One of the friends was our Muslim friend! He has been super busy lately and we haven't met with him for about a week. Friday night I really just felt like we needed to call him and invite him to watch conference. Once we got home we called him and he said he was really sick with the flu but happy to hear from us! It was honestly a good thing that he was sick because then he had nothing better to do than watch General Conference haha. He is really interested in the fact that we have a living Prophet so we are excited to hear what his thoughts were on it!

I hope you all had a fantastic Easter! HE LIVES! Here's a super awesome quote from this past week's Come Follow Me that I loved "What does it mean to say that Jesus Christ is "He who liveth"? It doesn't just mean that He rose from the tomb on the third day and appeared to His Galilean disciples. It means that He lives today. He speaks through prophets today. He leads His church today. He heals wounded souls and broken hearts today." I love that! Jesus Chirst lives and His atonement applies to you and your life! I promise that if you study His life and His gospel you will understand how the atonement works in your life and you will be able to see His hand in your life. I know He lives and loves us

I know our Father in Heaven loves us too.

Love you all!

Love,

Sister Anderson
